Recipe: Use Servings Text

The application does not recognize the units of measurement entered from the backend.
For example, when entering "1 liter" in the "servings" section of the backend, the frontend displays "1 serving" instead of "1 Liter" as it should.
I have tried various units of measurement in both English and Spanish, but none are recognized correctly.

Difference Between Liters and Servings in Backend and Frontend

Why does the frontend show 3 servings when I enter 3 liters in the backend?

Hi, thanks for your feedback. As of now, only the numbers in the text are used. The text input is to provide compatibility with other websites. It's a good idea to change that in the future. I keep this post to track votes.

Jan There should be two separate fields: the first one should be numeric, allowing only numbers, and the second one should be a text or selection field (similar to tags), allowing users to choose or enter units such as “portions,” “liters,” “kilos,” or “people.”
